Philosophy of Practice

In therapy, I help clients explore how their past influences their present while building trust in their own inner wisdom. Avoiding painful experiences can help us survive, but it may also lead to anxiety, depression, PTSD, or substance use.

I specialize in supporting clients navigating gender, sexuality, and neurodiversity-related stressors. My goal is to help you find self-acceptance and healing in the face of societal expectations.

Areas of Focus

  • Anxiety & Depression

  • PTSD & Trauma

  • Substance Use Disorders

  • Gender & Sexuality in Relationships

  • Neurodiversity

Approaches

I use evidence-based, mind-body approaches including EMDR, mindfulness-based interventions, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and executive functioning support. I also incorporate Feedback Informed Treatment to ensure our work is effective and centered on your needs.

Clinical Supervision

I provide supervision for new and experienced professionals, including therapists, social workers, and substance use counselors. I can also supervise for some graduate programs. For inquiries, please contact info@kindling-wellness.com
